A new Publix location in the metro area will open next week.
The Market Place at The Bray in Vestavia Hills opens at 7 a.m. June 3, bringing 135 new jobs to the area.
The 48,100-square-foot store will have traditional grocery, dairy and frozen food departments along with full- service bakery, deli, pharmacy, seafood, meat and fresh produce departments.
